Superior Coach Plans Addition To Norwalk Division Plant

Superior Coach Corp. announced a second addition to its Norwalk Division plant, signing contracts for a 30,000 square foot expansion on the south side to store production material and metal stampings. The project, expected to finish by Aug 1, will cost over $187,473 with Schneider Inc. as general contractor. C.F. Bushong projected eventual hiring growth after year start.

Norwalk Man Arrested by FBI for Flight to Avoid Prosecution

Glen Dale Richards, 34, of 154 West Main Norwalk, was arrested by the FBI for leaving California in January 1966 to avoid trial on grand theft charges. He faces transport to Toledo for identification and a bond hearing after a federal warrant issued March 28.

Ten Dollar Break-In Reported At J C Penney

Approximately ten dollars in change was taken during a nighttime break in at the J C Penney store 19 East Main Street. Manager Mark Beeman found an office window ajar this morning and notified police at 7 47 AM. Entry may have been gained through the second floor roof access with no pry marks observed and no merchandise disturbed. Police are pursuing several leads.

Theunsinkable Molly Brown opens tonight at Norwalk High School with a uniformed doorman at the Main Street entrance and two assistants. An illuminated sign and three spotlights greet guests. Parking is reserved at Ebert Motor Sales, Landall's Sinclair Station, and Model Cleaners. Sesquicentennial Queen Susan Schauss and runner-up Donna Miefert will be introduced by Louis Thill of the Norwalk Rotary Club. Punch will be served at intermission and a champagne reception follows at the Elks Country Club. Curtain is 8:30 p.m.

Robert Timman, past Firelands Post No 2743 commander, seeks junior vice commander of the VFW 9th district. He has served as post chaplain, junior and senior vice commander, and commander in 1958 59.
