Police cite Peking links in Newark riot caused 26 deaths

Newark police captain says charges against leftists citing information from Peking helped spark last July riot that killed 26 and caused 15 million dollars in damage. He recommended presenting findings to county or federal grand juries. In Georgia a man and his son drown after a man claimed he could walk on water.

Government urged to end nude photos of air traffic controllers

The Traffic Controllers Union head asked the FAA to stop taking nude pictures of air traffic controllers. FAA says the photos helped establish individual semiotypes a numerical description of body type used in profiling personnel.

Pope Paul VI carried a heavy wooden cross in a torchlight procession re enacting Christ s march to Calvary. In Jerusalem pilgrims from two faiths filled the city for Passover and Resurrection celebrations as the pontiff prepared to lead a joyous Easter service tonight. He stood and walked fifteen minutes with the six foot cross before addressing about 100 000 worshipers in a clear voice.

If Lad Could Talk Dog-napping worries in New London area

Mrs. Norman Ward urges residents to protect pets after Lad a year old collie owned by Mr. and Mrs. J J Fritz was found injured on their porch having been abducted the previous night. Man Admits 120 MPH In 50 Zone In Monroeville

Donald Lyons age 19 admitted in court this morning that he drove 120 miles per hour in a 50 mile zone and failed to stop for a red pursuit light. He pled guilty to speeding and failure to stop and was fined 50 dollars on each count.
