Toy gun destruction urged by store owner in community drive

Dave Perlin, of 4301 North, plans to destroy a $5,000 stock of toy guns to deter youths from upgrading to real weapons. For each toy brought in, he will destroy both the toy and a new gun in a special machine. He urges youngsters to surrender their toy weapons starting Monday June 24.

Study Predicts Negro Transition in Austin and Oak Park Areas

A Chicago Education Board projection covers 1970 to 1975, forecasting rapid westward population shifts.
