Prairie City Notes and Visits Across Town
Mrs Edgarraper and children of Runnells visited friends then returned Saturday evening. Miss Marguerite Butters spent days in Newton with Miss Edna Murray. The Sth marks the Mitchell pastorate anniversary at the Congregational church as Rev J J Mitchell led steady gains. Donald Mitchell returned from Chester Center, Arn S O Scott attended church, Miss Martha Thompson visited Des Moines and Ames, Stella Sparks and Myron went to Lynnville, and M E Sparks teaches a 26 member music class. A new brick crossing between Little Gill and the state bank stands, and a heavy rain fell around Percy. Come to Prairie City to celebrate the glorious fourth.
