Jasper County Telephone Company Amends Articles of Incorporation
At a special meeting held in Newton on May 5, 1902 the Jasper County Telephone Company amended Article II of its Articles of Incorporation. Authorized capital stock remains 100000 dollars divided into 1000 shares of 100 dollars. 100 shares may be issued as preferred stock with an 8 percent annual dividend, priority on dividends and assets, and retirement options at par plus accrued earnings. Officers Blanchaine and Mahin signed, with notary acknowledgments from Sherman County Iowa on May 13, 1902.
