Wreck on the work train injures sixteen aboard
A Saturday evening wreck derailed a work train after striking cattle on the track. Sixteen men in the caboose sustained injuries, with Henry Kraft in critical condition and others receiving varying serious hurts. Ell Boyd treated in Des Moines, Ira Boarts bedridden, the rest recovering.
