Judge Winslow Passes Away After Long Service
Judge Horace Spencer Winslow died at his Newton home on December 11 after months of organic heart trouble. A longtime Jasper county lawyer and former district attorney, he led the local bar for over 43 years and held multiple state and fraternal offices. He leaves a wife Sarah E Dunkle and two daughters Kate and Jessie, plus siblings. Funeral at Congregational Church with Masonic burial.
