Ex POW payments delayed until Congress backs funds
The federal plan ties eligibility to imprisonment days from June 23, 1950, to release, with payment issued after Congress provides funds. A separate form will be sent to survivors, to be filed by widow, children, or parents, and payments go to them. Major Nial can be contacted via the newspaper with a self addressed stamped envelope and 20 certs in coin. Lions Club events and local notices follow with community details.
