Weary of McCarthy Situation Shapes Senate Clash

Washington, Sept 28. RNC chairman Leonard W. Hall said the McCarthy battle will not affect November elections as Americans are tired of the situation. Egyptian gunboat seizes freighter amid Suez clash

An Egyptian gunboat seized a small Israeli freighter attempting to pass Egypt's blockade of Israeli shipping through the Suez Canal. Adult Education Classes Arranged for Fall and Winter

The Board of Education has arranged three adult education classes for the fall and winter season. Two classes will meet at Frederick High School and one at Middletown High School. Open to anyone over 16 not regularly attending day school, with a $1 registration fee. A beginning typing class was set to begin Tuesday evening at Frederick High, taught by James Milton, commercial teacher at FHS.
