Computer model shows how projects affect Frederick County traffic
Frederick County officials will use a California traffic model adapted for the county to project how development and highway changes on the I 270 corridor and other routes could impact commuting. The system, funded by the Maryland Department of Transportation, lets planners view regional traffic patterns, test scenarios, and gauge congestion in general areas while learning the software.
