Mason Masons Husk Corn At Bonnie Blink Home Event
On Saturday October 24 more than 8000 Maryland Masons will join at the Maryland Majestic Homes in Cockeysville to husk corn on 421 acres, then share breakfast and souvenir pennies. Events include archery, horseshoe and quoit games, Canine Corps, a Tall Cedars Band concert, Boumi clowns, antique steam engines, and guided tours for 165 guests. William B. Stansbury will speak at 10:30 a.m. followed by Henry C. Clausen. The Maryland Masonic Homes, called Bonnie Blink or Beautiful View, began with 293 acres in 1927 and opened to guests May 1, 1934. Over 47,000 Maryland Masons support the Homes, the only charity sponsored by Maryland Masons.
