North Market Street To Get Repair Work
Reconstruction of North Market Street between Seventh and Tenth Street will take place this fall, Mayor Frederick E. Paul Magara announced. The mayor said Walter E. Woodford, chief engineer for the State Roads Commission, informed him of the project. Since Market Street is Maryland Route 355, the state maintains it. The city has long sought repairs on Market and Patrick Streets, with Patrick Street work recently proceeding.
