Heirloom Diamond Stolen From Baroness
Baltimore reports a nine-diamond cross shaped heirloom ring stolen from Baroness Alwine de Vos van Steenwijk at the Emerson Hotel while she prepared to address a women’s club. The ring, mounted on a gold band, belonged to her great-grandmother and was recently inherited from her mother. Also noted is a feature on the California condor, the largest U.S. bird, with a 7 to 11 foot wingspan.
