Frederick County Civil Defense Urges Air Defense Week Alert
Frederick County Civil Defense director L B Crickenberger asks all residents to observe National Air Defense Week and cooperate with a countywide alert at 6 35 pm with a three minute siren blast. A 6 45 pm take cover signal will pause traffic for five minutes. Police and Civil Defense deputies will manage traffic. motorists with radios can hear both signals.
