Mount St Marys College Emmitsburg begins its 199th year with 600 students, the largest in history. Solemn High Mass marks opening as Msgr John L Sheridan celebrant and Rev James P Diamond to welcome the students. About 60 percent are veterans. housing remains tight with dorms limited and 50 temporary units planned for October.
