Zimmerman Family Reunion Highlights 1979 Walkersville
The Clayton M and Myra Beattie Heberlig Zimmerman descendants gathered August 27 at Walkersville Fire Grounds led by Ronnie Cooper. 118 enjoyed a picnic dinner while Pennsylvania kin attended. New officers were elected for 1979 with Clark Cooper as president and Dotty Cooper as vice president. Floral tributes honored the oldest attendees and a new William H. Zimmerman baby heifer calf prize was awarded to Denny Derry Jr. Other prize winners, hobby shares, and children’s games marked the day. The 1979 reunion is set for the last Sunday in August at the same Walkersville pavilion.
