Hail damaged Montgomery crops eligible for federal aid
Farmers in Montgomery suffering at least 20 percent losses from July hailstorms may qualify for federal loans at five percent or higher. Amendments broaden eligibility to include credit from other sources and allow loans up to seven or 20 years with varying rates. Temporary office opened in Beallsville to assist applicants as about 1.1 million dollars in losses are processed. Dr Ruth M. Davis elected vice chair and chair-elect of EPRI advisory council.
