Roads Tour Set For October 21
A five-property owners delegation asked the Frederick County Roads Board to maintain a county road used as a shortcut by Middletown Myersville residents and Fort Detrick traffic. The board set October 21 for the annual roads tour to review the 16 foot paved road standard and 50 foot right of way needs for the next program, with a potential first mile to Hoover's Mill road added to the plan. The meeting featured discussion of Mud College road and the need for right of way, and included Dr Gene Pessagno and Dr Cone Jnman Jr., among others, with Lt Col Kelso in attendance and Dr Robert Heldrich joining the Maryland State Dental Society later.
