Beehive in Chimney Prompts Idaho Fire Scare

In Boise a beehive in a chimney melted honey as the first fire of the season warmed the home. Bees swarmed into the house and firemen blocked the chimney while workers searched for a safe removal method. No injuries reported.

Tawes proposes Maryland Economic Development Commission

Maryland State Comptroller J Millard Tawes and Democratic gubernatorial candidate urged creation of a non political Maryland Economic Development Commission to study assets and attract new industries.
