Two Charged in Urbana Exxon Armed Robbery Case
James B. Cobb Jr and Cornelius Scott faced armed robbery charges after a Sunday incident at the Urbana Exxon station near Monrovia. Cobb brandished a .38 revolver, demanded cash, and fled in a 1974 Dodge after the attendant noted its tag. Police stopped the suspects on 1270 Gaithersburg without incident and Cobb also faces illegal transport of a handgun charge. A separate stabbing at Jenkins Camp left Lazaro Hurtado with minor injuries. his assailant Fidel Garcia was not charged as Hurtado declined to press charges.
