Miss Montana Leads Miss America Prelim Talent Win
Miss Montana Diana Lynn Pacini, 20, from Great Falls, won the talent trophy at the Miss America pageant third preliminary show in Atlantic City New Jersey. Other prelim winners included Miss California Janet Jay Carr for swimsuit and Miss Ohio Susan Kay Banks and Miss Massachusetts Cynthia Carpenter for talent in prior nights. The top 10 semifinalists will be chosen tonight for the national final with 50 percent talent, 25 percent swimsuit, and 25 percent evening gown and interview. the names of semifinalists are not announced until tonight.
