Child abuse investigator wins award in Montgomery County
Kathleen R Greene of the Montgomery County Police Youth Services Investigations Division was named a 1993 Investigator of the Year nominee for her relentless casework. She uncovered a live-in boyfriend who violated a court order, leading to the child’s removal and a five year sentence for the abuser. Detective Deborah Pelicano of the Park Police was also cited for diligence in a separate September 1992 case involving a man posing as a police officer who fondled a juvenile in a park.
