Vindobena nursing home marks 40th anniversary banquet

Vindobona health care members gathered at Urbana Turning Point Inn to celebrate four decades of service at Frederick County's oldest nursing home. Retirements aside, staff shared long tenures from 15 to 37 years, recalling snowbound shifts, haircuts, rooftop rescues, and a culture of care that grew from 12 patients in 1954 to 64 patients and 85 staff today.
