Montgomery County OKs plans to handle heavier snows
Montgomery County officials say they are beefing up snow removal capacity with 10 to 15 more pieces of equipment and extra operators. World War II pilot to speak at Montgomery College
Decorated WWII fighter pilot Quentin Aanenson will share his personal story on October 28 at the Montgomery College Performing Arts Center in Rockville. He flew 75 combat missions with the 366th Fighter Group in Europe 1944 45 earning the Distinguished Flying Cross Purple Heart Air Medal with Nine Oak Leaf Clusters and Legion of Honor. Drive-through bank robber sought by Crime Solvers
A man robbed Citizens Savings Bank in Gaithersburg using a drive-through window. He entered at 5 p.m. on September 27, showed a clay wrapped device in tape and demanded cash, then fled in a white 1995 Chevrolet King Cab pickup.
