Baltimore Man Charged In Mikulski Mugging

Baltimore police say Robert Perlie, 32, was charged with robbery for allegedly mugging Sen Barbara Mikulski in Fells Point last Oct. He was arrested blocks from the scene. Mikulski, 59, dislocated a finger but continued public duties after the holdup and recovery of the purse with $40.

Man dies after high-speed chase ends on tracks

A man who led police on a 4 am high-speed chase near the University of Maryland died when his car struck a utility pole, hit a retaining wall, and landed beside MARC Camden Line tracks delaying trains and traffic for up to 20 minutes. The suspect fled after burglarizing a nearby business. his name was not released.

Man Arrested After Shooting Woman on Light Rail Train

Horace Bernard McQuay 23 of Baltimore was arrested near Shipley Shopping Mall and charged with attempted first degree murder in the shooting of Rosalyn Jukes 28 on a Glen Burnie light rail train. Jukes was treated and released from University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. as the train neared Cromwell Glen Burnie station.
