Two Local Prisoners Escape From Road Gang
Two Frederick County jail prisoners escaped Wednesday while on a work detail with the Frederick County Roads Board. Identified as Arthur Harry Harris and Earl S Copelin, both were not under Road at the time. Copelin had recently driven a truck that damaged a state patrol car near Pearl. The status and escape circumstances could not be learned. After four years of aerial spraying with DDT on 315000 acres in Cape Cod, no gypsy moths were found.
