Tillman’s defense opens with testimon y in Kentucky case
In Lexington October 8 the Tillman defense began presenting witnesses as the state rests. Nine defense witnesses heard this week, with counsel Thurmond arguing to exclude prior possession of a weapon. The court allowed it, citing related testimony. T. D. Mitchell testified about a Gonzales remark on J. H. Tillman, suggesting threats and implying lead could harm him.
