Jurors Deliberate Fate of Laurel Teen Killer Case
Jurors begin deliberations in the Laurel murder case of 18 year old Cochise Queen charged with first degree murder and assault in the death of Gilberto Hernandez. Prosecution says Queen and others chased the victim, leaving him with a fractured skull. Hernandez died four days later. Witnesses included three teens with varying motives and an alternate juror noted the credibility of the prosecution. Hispanic advocates monitored the trial and urged robust witness protection and clear testimony.
