Baha is from the Maryland District will participate in one of 41 nationwide district conventions on Oct 4 at Atholton School Simpsonville to elect delegates for the National Convention April 29 to May 2 1982 at the Baha i House of Worship Wilmette Illinois. Local Frederick communities join the election in a spiritual, secret ballot process.

The Maranatha Church of God at 55 Winchester St Frederick will host a hymn sing at 7 p.m. Saturday Oct 10 featuring guest singers and accompanists from the area including Tri-Stans New London Sunnyside Gospel Ensemble Earl Weedon Myrtle Palmer Esther Johnson and others. Proceeds will aid the new Taney Avenue building fund with future hymn sings planned for the second Saturday each month.
