Negro Gets 8 Months For Theft Of Chickens
A court in Eugene sentenced a man, Roberts, to eight months in the Wee House of Correction for stealing chickens from Mrs Margaret Young at 305 East Second Street. Evidence showed a box containing feathers and live fowls linked him to the crime, with officers testifying to a box and chickens found at the scene and witnesses identifying Roberts at the henhouse.
