Schroyer Not Guilty in Two Baltimore Cases
Schroyer is found not guilty of assault and battery on his sister in Frederick and exonerated of unauthorized use of an automobile in a dispute with his Baltimore sweetheart. Testimony from the sister Naomi Hauver and from Helen Redmond, who could not attend, shapes the outcome. Schreyer, who testified about the six month relationship and car ownership, says the arrest followed a heated quarrel at his sister’s home. Other defendants include Columbus Bryant, found technically guilty of assault and battery and fined. Further, Thomas Wood, colored, faces a $26.80 fine after a lengthy dispute involving a craps game and knives in two colored taverns.
