Rockville board declines reopen dog hearing and orders status quo
The Rockville Animal Control Board rejected bids to reopen the hearing on three rottweilers that attacked a woman and her child and refused a request to destroy the dogs. The dogs will stay in two kennels outside the city while the decision may be appealed by the North Farm Citizens Association. The owners’ attorney and victims expressed dismay at the ruling, with the attacker’s spouse noting the emotional toll and the child remaining afraid of dogs.
