Bartlett touts technology in border district talk

Walkersville debates Nicodemus Farm rezoning proposal

About 50 residents attended a public hearing on 224 acres of Nicodemus Farm land sought for rezoning from agricultural to low-density residential by 103-29 Limited Partnership. Planning staff and Planning Commission recommended denial citing school, water, sewer, and traffic capacity concerns and potential high school overcrowding. The commission had not decided at presstime.
