Carroll Creek plans questioned by Frederick residents
About 25 residents packed Barbara Pritchie House to debate Carroll Creek development. Mayor Jim Grimes said the Nood control project nears completion and the park is largely finished, but final plans hinge on public input amid concerns the creek could divide the city. Some residents pressed for a museum, fountains, or weekend events along the water. The Maryland Historic Trust debate over sculpture and lighting remains unresolved as city restructuring promises longer-term planning.
