Pipe bomb found near Lewistown watershed

Shots fired as troopers confront domestic dispute

Donald Null a WWII veteran and his daughter Sherrie Hulbert danced at the William Talley Recreation Center as Frederick County marked its 250th anniversary and Memorial Park rededication. About 175 attendees, many veterans, sang patriotic songs beneath flags while narrators recounted county military history. The Veterans Committee, led by Null, raised about 130,000 dollars to fund park improvements, a memorial, and a bell tower.
