A 31 year old former jazz musician identified as Melvin Davis seeks reversal of his murder conviction. In Spotsylvania County Court, a federal judge calls back the jury for a two day hearing on the writ of habeas corpus. The case stems from the murder of Carroll Vernon Jackson in 1961 and subsequent deaths of his wife and two daughters.
