Two taken to trauma center after US 15 crash
Two front seat occupants were rushed to the R Adams Cowley Trauma Center in Baltimore after a two vehicle collision at US 15 and Hayward Road. Erin Turk 18 of Mount Airy and Margaret Thomas 52 of Frederick were involved when Turk failed to yield while turning onto Hayward Road. Debris struck a third vehicle. its driver not injured. Thomas refused treatment. David Weller 39 and Amanda Fogel 18 were listed in serious but stable condition. The scene was cleared by 12:20 pm and the investigation continues.
