Motorist Acquitted and Several Sentences Set in Frederick Court
Motorist Roy Henry Mitchell, 23, was acquitted of failing to stop for a flashing red light after a Sept. 13 two vehicle crash at South Bentz and West South Streets. Other defendants were acquitted or convicted of varied charges including reckless driving spinning wheels and disorderly intoxication. Ali Hafezieh, 24, was fined 10 dollars. Deborah Baker received probation without verdict. Henry Dextradeur was fined 50 and 100 dollars for two counts. John Bagent was convicted on the failure to reduce speed, while John Cannon received a 30 day jail term. William Walker paid 25 dollars for spinning rear wheels.

A 22 year old Crownsville man was charged with five motor vehicle counts after a stop at North Market and Sixth Streets. Osborn jailed on $1515 bond for license revoked operation and related offenses with trial set for Nov 5. Kyung Soom Park of Kansas City was treated after her car ran off I 70, no charges filed.
