Pupils stage original opera by fifth graders at Farmland School
Fifth graders at Farmland Elementary perform Chat Room Virus a three act opera in May with original arias exploring curiosity and consequences of lying. Irene Arveson notes twists for the audience while Yom Maram and two pupils built stage lighting. Designer Noa Nachshon and Lisa Walker showcase six characters dressed in color coordinated outfits. The show marks a year of work funded by a Metropolitan Opera Guild grant and training from Princeton University.
