Teen charged in assault on 79 year old woman
Frederick youth Michael Geisbert age 18 allegedly broke into 3810 Petersville Road in Knoxville Maryland and chased a 79 year old resident up stairs threatening bodily harm. He was charged with burglary assault and destruction of property and awaited a bond hearing mid morning Saturday. He was treated and released from Frederick Memorial Hospital after suffering cuts Friday night.

Small plane crashes into Chesapeake Bay near Bay Bridge
A Piper Navajo carrying five children and two adults lost power after takeoff from Bay Bridge Airport. The pilot Robert Childs and his wife were in serious but stable condition.
