County Officials Hold Executive Talks On New Budget
Frederick County commissioners continue work on fiscal 1972 budget requests in executive session after two weeks of public hearings. A press/public access decision is expected Thursday. Maine man returns from Vietnam after impersonating brother
Wesley Storer of Yarmouth Maine arrived back in the United States aboard a military aircraft after spending nearly a month in Vietnam in place of his brother Spec 4 Glenn Storer. No charges were filed against the 22 year old. Glenn turned himself in at Fort Devens and is en route to Vietnam. A military spokesman said Glenn would likely be charged with absence without leave.

Bicyclist Hurt and Youth Arrested in Bike Theft Case
An 11 year old boy, Gene Covell, was slightly injured when his bicycle hit a car on South Wisner Street near his home at 7 05 p.m. The car was driven by James Lowe aged 28 of East South Street. No charges were filed. In a separate case a 14 year old was charged with trying to steal a 3 speed bicycle from a garage on Dill Avenue and was held after being caught by the homeowner. This marked a second bike theft arrest in eight days.
