Montgomery Proposes 18 Million School Program
Montgomery County Board of Education today proposed a five year plan totaling 18 120 000 for school construction. Of the total 5 406 500 would be used in the fiscal year starting July. An additional 1 725 000 is sought to place new construction under contract next spring. Projects include 292 500 for furniture 140 500 for kitchen equipment 30 000 for instructional materials 1 300 000 for building and grounds and 458 000 for new school buses. Proposed construction includes a Gaithersburg High School.
