Beck Used Union Funds Says Aide Testimony
Investment adviser Fred Loomis testified before a Senate committee that Dave Beck used union funds for personal or family gain and that Beck sought favorable treatment for Anheuser Busch. Loomis described mortgages via National Mortgage Co. and a loan seen as improper influence, plus Beck’s role in a Budweiser distributorship. He said Beck asked him to warn against inappropriate financial interests.
