Susan Holston Crowned 1979 Maryland Angus Queen
Susan C. Holston, 17, a Derwood high school senior, was named 1979 Maryland Angus Queen and will represent the Maryland Angus Association at state and national livestock events. Daughter of William and (Mrs.) Holston, she has shown champions since age nine, including the 1978 Maryland Angus Heiferama III grand champion and Montgomery County Fair top selling steer, and serves as president of the Maryland Junior Angus Association.
