Frederick Children Stage Historic Pageant On Campus
More than 1,000 Frederick students from city and county schools performed in a Friday pageant on the Maryland State School for the Deaf campus. The event, under Johns Hopkins Extension Course leadership, depicted colonial and early American life with scenes from Susquehanna and Wiscatawon Indians to Quaker New Market and Revolutionary era. The program featured an orchestra of children, a Lafayette tribute, and final acts showing youth clubs and future citizenship.
