NINETY-TWO MEMBERS OF THE senior class at Hood College will receive their diplomas at the commencement exercises to be held June 4. Dr. Charles R. Brown of the Yale Divinity School will deliver the address. A Citizens Committee has completed plans for entertainment of children to be sent here by the New York Tribune Fresh Air Fund from July 16 to July 30. Chick Fallis, former Frederick outfielder, hit his second home run in two days for the New York Giants as they lost to Pittsburgh. From the opening on May 30, 1927, until May 5 of this year 61,040 guests from all over the world have visited the Barbara Fritchie Home on West Patrick street.
