New York Man Dies In Car At U S 15 Intersection
A New York man James Terry Luce aged 67 of Elmira was found dead in a car Sunday at 12 06 pm at the intersection of U S 15 and Fish Hatchery Road. A motorist reported the death to police. Luce had a history of heart difficulties and had taken some medication minutes earlier. He was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead by Medical Examiner Dr Robert J Thomas. Next of kin notified.

Frost Warnings Lifted After Rain Soaks Frederick County
Frost warnings followed a soaking rain that brought .22 inch of precipitation easing a long drought. The fire ban was lifted in Washington and Allegany Counties, ending a 16 day restriction. Brisk winds, cool temperatures and clearing skies were forecast with a brief warmup expected Tuesday.
