City reviews licensing amendments to align with standards

Frederick officials examined several proposed amendments from the permits and code management department ahead of tonight's public meeting. The changes, tied to electrical and licensing ordinances, address permits fees penalties and enforcement after the department's new arm faced growing issues. The first amendment designates a power company as a utility and keeps permitting under the National Electrical Code. Garris case goes to jury
