Mount Pleasant Seeks Sewer Plans Amid Growth Fears
Mount Pleasant residents press for water and sewer service as officials weigh a $10 million extension from Md. 194 and Lake Singanore. Commissioners fear explosive growth, while residents cite health risks from failing septic systems and sea of oozing sewage. Local officials note limited grant options and high per-household costs, delaying action despite decades of advocacy.
