Chrysler fights court recall of 91,000 Dodge Cirrus Stratus cars
Chrysler Corp seeks to block a court ordered recall of 91,000 Cirrus and Dodge Stratus vehicles from 1995 over rear seat belt anchors. The company argues the recall is unfair and that the penalty for noncompliance could reach 1.6 million dollars. The government says faulty anchors risk seat belt failures in crashes.
